Peppers are a warm weather plant.  Flowers will drop from the plant if temperatures are over 85 degrees.  Harvest first peppers promptly to stimulate further fruit production.  Colored peppers generally require an additional 2-4 weeks to fully ripen.

  • Small, mild Japanese pepper for roasting, pan frying and grilling.  Thin walls blister and char easily when roasted or grilled taking on rich flavor that is delicious with course salt and lemon juice.  Typically harvested when green but will turn orange or red and sweeter in taste.  Plants are spreading instead of upright.  Fruits are 2-4 inches.  An occasional fruit will have some heat to it.

  • All plants are certified organic.
